Hi, I’m the Roxie in Plan.it Roxie.

After years working in, on and around events I decided it was time to run my own show and start creating events for clients that would always have that ‘WOW’ + an attention to detail that was all too often missing.

People definitely know when they’re at one of our events and our clients can’t get enough of it!

Following a highly successful career on air at K-ROCK and BayFM, I spent a decade working in business development and event management in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. All this means that I’m arguably one of the best-connected people in Geelong! I can open doors that are closed to everyone else, find sponsors where no-one else can, get deals and facilitate relationships that other people couldn’t even imagine.

Our team is made up of a talented bunch of event and marketing professionals who bring with them a whole raft of complimentary skills in areas such as social media, PR, design, styling + hospitality.

Event planning and instinctually knowing how to engage with people has to be in your DNA! You have to love it and we do! We take a fresh and innovative approach, always looking for the most efficient way to get the biggest bang for your buck!

Christmas in August!

We all laugh at the ridiculousness of Christmas trees and decorations in shops as early as October; but employers of staff who expect a great Christmas party need to get their head into Christmas mode as early as NOW!

Most would roll their eyes at the thought of Christmas break-ups in August, but you would be shocked at how quickly great venues book out over the busy period!

With the new financial year having just begun, work places are too busy with new projects to be worrying about their annual break up. The majority of the time, it is left to the secretary, or someone else in the office who generally has little experience with events to throw something together in a few weeks, with the measly budget they are given.

As Ms. Mary Kay Ash once said, “There are two things people want more than sex and money -- recognition and praise."

It is super important to recognize the work that your staff have done all year, and a Christmas party is one that is appreciated but also quite generally expected from businesses. Some staff spend all year looking forward to their Christmas break up, and we can’t forget the all important client parties that show our appreciation to our most loyal customers!

If you’re lucky enough to have someone at work that is great at this make sure they know it! But if not, with such an important investment, why wouldn’t you leave it to someone who could give you BANG for your buck??

Event organisers generally have great connections within the community which means great prices for you, and a creativity that can give an inexpensive space the WOW factor!
