Hi, I’m the Roxie in Plan.it Roxie.

After years working in, on and around events I decided it was time to run my own show and start creating events for clients that would always have that ‘WOW’ + an attention to detail that was all too often missing.

People definitely know when they’re at one of our events and our clients can’t get enough of it!

Following a highly successful career on air at K-ROCK and BayFM, I spent a decade working in business development and event management in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. All this means that I’m arguably one of the best-connected people in Geelong! I can open doors that are closed to everyone else, find sponsors where no-one else can, get deals and facilitate relationships that other people couldn’t even imagine.

Our team is made up of a talented bunch of event and marketing professionals who bring with them a whole raft of complimentary skills in areas such as social media, PR, design, styling + hospitality.

Event planning and instinctually knowing how to engage with people has to be in your DNA! You have to love it and we do! We take a fresh and innovative approach, always looking for the most efficient way to get the biggest bang for your buck!

One thing we do know is that everyone loves a ‘sticky’, they want to see what your new abode is like and get to see a bit more of your business, who you are and how you operate – it’s a great way for people to visually connect with you when most of the connecting these days is done through an email.

It’s fair to say that not all locations can provide the perfect space for a gathering but try and think creatively about how you can manipulate your locale.

We have held events in factories amongst machinery (turned off!!!), marquees in car parks and had storerooms draped in black curtaining.

It’s really important, if you can to showcase your new address, and make it known to everyone that you’re thriving!

“But I’ve got no money left after I bought that new chandelier for my office!”

You can spend as little or as much as you can afford.

It can be a few drinks and nibbles with your closest clients or a total show stopper like the launch we did for Thomas Jewellers new store!
