Do you ever get that dreaded feeling of a wasted day sorting through e-mails and fixing that stupid signature that just wont work???
What’s that saying?
“Time flies when you’re having fun”
Well we must all LOVE our jobs! Especially when it feels like you only just walked into the office, and it’s already home time.
Time management is all about planning, and as event managers ourselves we felt like our few tips below may make your days a lot more productive!
Lists, lists and more lists!
A weekly planner is such a great tool to prioritize and delegate tasks!
It may only take 15 minutes on a Monday morning to create, but when Friday comes around and that list is all ticked off, you will see how much you’ve accomplished, and be able to relax on the weekend!
Start a routine!
Having a rough daily routine will keep you on track and minimise those lovely daydreams (the ones you have while considering what you’ll do next). Make sure that you set time aside to check your e-mails and social media, as client- business interaction is super important!
Brainstorm and plan!
While these two things take extra time, you’ll find that beginning a project by brainstorming and creating plans instead of simply jumping into it, will end up saving you time as you’ll be less likely to miss aspects later on. Once all the important steps and aspects have been decided, create a priority list and start ticking them off!
