Hi, I’m the Roxie in Plan.it Roxie.

After years working in, on and around events I decided it was time to run my own show and start creating events for clients that would always have that ‘WOW’ + an attention to detail that was all too often missing.

People definitely know when they’re at one of our events and our clients can’t get enough of it!

Following a highly successful career on air at K-ROCK and BayFM, I spent a decade working in business development and event management in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. All this means that I’m arguably one of the best-connected people in Geelong! I can open doors that are closed to everyone else, find sponsors where no-one else can, get deals and facilitate relationships that other people couldn’t even imagine.

Our team is made up of a talented bunch of event and marketing professionals who bring with them a whole raft of complimentary skills in areas such as social media, PR, design, styling + hospitality.

Event planning and instinctually knowing how to engage with people has to be in your DNA! You have to love it and we do! We take a fresh and innovative approach, always looking for the most efficient way to get the biggest bang for your buck!

Plan.it Roxie has just moved into ‘banging’ new digs in the funky end of town and we’ve only just unpacked so we totally know what a pain the whole moving thing is.

We also know what an amazing opportunity it is to showcase what we do and get a bit of face-to-face engagement time with our clients and suppliers that’s why we’re having a big launch party to celebrate! Plus, we’re even having a separate, lower key event for all our neighbours so we can say ‘Hi’ and they can welcome us to the neighbourhood. New Blog Image26062013

The horse races are many peoples favourite time of the year. An excuse to lash out on a new pair of shoes, a gorgeous new dress and of course that matching fascinator. Others love the excitement of placing bets and sadly if you’re like me, making donations to TAB.

Whatever you love about going to the races one thing is for sure, not everyone’s race days are full of glitz + glam.

We’ve all seen the shoeless girls at the end of the day, leaning on their boyfriends who should probably be leaning on someone themselves. There is nothing worse then having to stand up all day even in your ‘totally comfy’ wedges!
